- Analog Circuit Design Engineer
Description
Where Precision Meets Purpose. Dataforth Corporation isn't just a company; it’s an engineering legacy. Born from the elite Burr-Brown pedigree, we are a lean, high-octane team in Tucson, AZ, dedicated to one goal: building the world’s most rugged and precise "Instrument Class" signal conditioning and data acquisition solutions.
We don't do "disposable" consumer tech. We build hardware that survives in the harshest environments on Earth. Here, you aren't a cog in a corporate machine - you are a primary architect. You will own your designs from the first simulation to the final product rolling off our on-site manufacturing floor. If you are a high achiever who thrives on independence and technical rigor, your next career chapter starts here.
The Challenge: In a world of digital noise, can you find the signal? We are looking for an Analog Design Engineer who views circuit design as an art form. You won't just be "connecting components"; you will be engineering high-performance signal chains, low-noise amplifiers, and sophisticated isolation barriers that define the industry standard.
Requirements
Why this role stands out:
- Total Ownership: You lead the full design lifecycle: architecture, modeling, prototyping, and validation.
- Elite Standards: Work on "Instrument Class" electronics where micro-volts and pico-amps matter.
- Direct Impact: Your designs move directly from your workstation to our on-site production line.
What you bring to the table:
- Academic Excellence: A BSEE (MSEE preferred) with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
You didn't just pass your classes; you mastered them - specifically in Analog
Design, Filter Theory, and Power Electronics.
- Technical Fearlessness: A deep-seated intuition for noise rejection, signal integrity, and stability analysis.
- The "Dataforth" Mindset: You are self-motivated, independent, and thrive when given significant responsibility.
